Uber and iCare+ announced a new partnership for IPC pharmacies to utilize as a way to maximize easy access to medication. The partnership will see IPC pharmacies that utilize the iCare+ digital healthcare services to enjoy access to Uber Direct delivery technology to expedite access by getting prescriptions to a patient’s front door as quickly as possible.The initiative will work well for independent pharmacies as a way to supplement their existing delivery programs by offering perks like same-day and even on-demand delivery to reduce delays.

President of IPC Digital Health Ashton Maaraba spoke on the Uber and iCare+ partnership saying, “Our goal is to provide our over 2000+ independent pharmacies participating in iCare+ with innovative, future-ready tools to compete in an evolving healthcare landscape. By integrating Uber Direct’s trusted delivery network, we are empowering pharmacies to offer a level of extended convenience that was once only available through large chains.”
