The YAOKI rover was developed by Dymon as a compact and cost-effective lunar exploration platform equipped with advanced robotic technologies, including sensors, motors, and communication systems. The design is expected to make lunar exploration more accessible. JAOPS will oversee ground operations for this private space exploration test, ensuring the rover’s successful deployment and data transmission. Intuitive Machines’ Nova-C lander, on the other hand, will deliver the rover to the Moon’s South Pole.
