Kruger Inc. has announced a $6.5 million investment to modernize and diversify production at its Wayagamack Mill in Trois-Rivières, Québec. This thoughtful initiative is supported by a $2.5 million contribution from the Canadian province’s government. The project will see the introduction of label paper grades, which addresses a growing demand for specialized paper products. It will bolster the mill’s position as a leader in the specialty paper market.

Advanced state-of-the-art equipment will be incorporated in order to advance Wayagamack Mill’s capabilities in innovation, versatility, and sustainability, while also securing the jobs of its 285 employees. This move reflects Kruger’s ongoing strategy to adapt to evolving market demands and strengthen its competitive edge in North America.
