YUZU, Match Group’s social app for Asian Americans, is launching an innovative election campaign aimed at empowering Gen Z voters. Partnering with Boba Guys and APIAVote, the initiative combines a limited-edition #YuzuYourVote boba drink, voter registration pop-ups, and a comprehensive Election Resource Hub. The campaign leverages cultural touchpoints to make voting more accessible and engaging for young Asian Americans.
At the heart of the initiative is a Yuzu Strawberry Lemonade Boba available at 19 Boba Guys locations, featuring branded sleeves with QR codes linking to YUZU’s Election Resource Hub. This digital platform offers voter registration resources, voting guides, and educational tools for first-time voters. The campaign also includes pop-up events in cities like Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Miami, combining voter registration with exclusive merchandise.
By integrating civic engagement into popular youth spaces and experiences, YUZU aims to boost participation and enthusiasm among young Asian American voters for the 2024 elections.
