Stühmer chocolate will be heading into space thanks to a partnership with the Hunor Program as a way to prioritize Hungarian excellence even further. The sponsorship will see Hungarian research astronaut Tibor Kapu and his partner Gyula Cserényi bringing the chocolate with them on their research mission. The partnership doesn’t just consist of the astronauts packing a few bars for the journey, but saw the brand preparing for many months to ensure the chocolate would meet the strict requirements for space travel and survive the extreme conditions.

The Hunor Program sponsorship will see Stühmer chocolate sending its signature Corfu bar into space on a future mission, which has been reformulated to withstand pressure differences, temperature fluctuations and more.
