The SunLED SunBooster is a computer peripheral engineered to help mimc the beneficial effects of sun exposure to support those who spend extended periods of time at a desk or simply indoors. The device features a webcam-like design that works by being positioned on top of a monitor where it will go to work transmitting near-infrared light thanks to a series of specialized LEDs inside. This is the wavelength that can provide benefits to vitality and cognition, but which is filtered out by modern windows.

The SunLED SunBooster will deliver a targeted beam of near-infrared light directly to the user’s face and has a motion sensor to automatically detect when the user is present to start the therapy.
