FreshDirect and Uber Eats have announced a partnership that’s intended to expedite access to fresh produce, pantry items and prepared meals for consumers. The partnership will see online grocer FreshDirect leveraging the on-demand delivery capabilities of Uber Eats, which will enable customers to place their order and receive it in as little as 60-minutes. The partnership comes as part of Uber’s continued initiative to expand on its grocery delivery capabilities and respond to increasing demand for convenient access to fresh food items.
Deputy CEO at FreshDirect Metin Hacioglu spoke on the FreshDirect and Uber Eats partnership saying, “This collaboration with Uber Eats marks a significant step forward for FreshDirect.
