Dragon Copilot is part of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare and is built on a secure, modern architecture that ensures data protection and compliance with healthcare regulations. The AI assistant is designed to be compatible with electronic health records (EHRs) such as Epic, allowing seamless integration into existing clinical workflows. Microsoft has reported that Dragon Copilot has already assisted with over three million ambient patient conversations across 600 healthcare organizations, resulting in significant time savings and improved clinician well-being. The tool is set to be available in the United States and Canada starting in May 2025, with plans to expand to other countries in the following months.
