Strep A is a bacterial infection that can lead to severe complications like rheumatic heart disease if untreated. There has been a significant rise in cases, particularly in regions with limited healthcare access. Light AI’s AI-driven diagnostic solution uses smartphone-based AI algorithms to diagnose Strep A quickly and accurately. This eliminates the need for traditional lab tests or swabs. The technology has shown a 96.57% accuracy rate in pre-FDA studies.

The partnership with MrBeast Industries aims to distribute Light AI’s diagnostic tools across Africa.
