Earthfirst® Films has introduced Earthfirst® Compostable Laminations, a new line of sustainable, high-performance packaging materials designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized brands. These pre-laminated films are crafted from renewable, bio-based materials and are fully compostable. The design effectively contributes to a circular economy by returning nutrients to the soil and supporting ecosystem health.

The first product in the Earthfirst® Compostable Laminations line is the Earthfirst® PouchReady Metallized Film, a four-mill multi-layer structure optimized for pouch-making that will offer high barrier properties, strength, and compatibility with zipper systems.

Designed for digital printing, these laminations enable customization, reduce lead times, and lower minimum order quantities. The materials’ FDA compliance for food contact ensures safety and versatility across various applications, while their high-barrier properties maintain product integrity.
