Garmin recently announced the launch of the revolutionary Approach® G20 Solar — a solar-powered GPS handheld device that promises unparalleled performance and unlimited battery life when used in sunny conditions. Its display measures 2.2 inches, making it compact and portable.

The Approach® G20 Solar enables golfers to “view yardage to the front, middle, and back of the green as well as hazards and doglegs,” which could be useful for strategy. Users can enhance the size of the text to aid with readability and see the shape of the green with manual pin placements.

Garmin has loaded its solar-powered GPS handheld device with more than 43,000 preloaded golf courses worldwide. The Approach® G20 Solar can also pair with a smartphone to deliver wireless updates about wind speed and direction to users.
